You have to see where it is crashing. When do you get the Blue Screen of death? When you open a specific program? When you save something? Or if it just happens randomly, you most likely have a bad stick of memory or you have important system files missing or corrupt. If it happens when you do a specific task then try to troubleshoot it if you are good with comps, if not go to Google and say “I get a blue screen of death when…..” If your comp is crashing randomly and your not really good then your most likely looking at a hard drive re format, (as long as there is nothing wrong with the memory). Good Luck!
Vista system always get this problem.
, i think it happens (again and again)when your operating system crashes or your master boot record gets corrupted.

Vista Blue screen treatment, you can also refer to
1 restart
2 new hardware detection of new services
3 Trojan virus detected
4 checks BIOS and hardware compatibility
5 run “sfc / scannow” system to check whether documents have been replaced, and then use the installation disk to restore the system
6 upgrade SP2 or SP3
7 motherboard refresh virus infection
8 BIOS were damaged, need to be replaced
I would test RAM for problems.
If RAM passes, then I would look into BIOS settings.
Does the blue screen in Windows Vista indicate a memory problem?
I’m installing Vista from a MSDN download. It’s the Ultimate edition. I built my own machine. The OS gets up and running, but then, at random times the thing crashes and I get the blue screen and the reset button doesn’t do anything. Is this an HDD or Memory problem? I tried installing XP too, but had the same problem, so it ain’t Vista…
Windows Vista Blue Screen Problem?
I tried to install the Windows Vista Service Pack 1, When I returned to my computer after about an hour of it installing my computer was shut off and when I tried to restart it I got the blue screen. I restarted and tried to boot in safe mode, it loads up a bunch of files from the C drive, but then it freezes, and restarts itself. If any of you have a solution it would be great if you could give me any tips
I get a blue screen when I try to do System Recovery, and when I do the Start Up Repair, blue screen >:(
I’m going to post a video of what it does later tonight.
Thanks in advance.
How do I install XP if I can’t even run my computer in safe mode? I actually have my old copy of XP, so I might just do that.
I found the system restore disks for Vista, I unplugged my Hard Drive, rebooted, shut my computer off, plugged it back in, and rebooted again. after it loads the restore disk, it goes right back to the blue screen of death. I desperately need help fixing this. If it matters at all, I just recently installed The Nvidia 8800GT, however, I wasn’t getting the BSoD until I tried to install the service pack for Vista.
